This year's Leadership Training Conference was a very special for all DeMolay's who attended. The International Master Councilor, Brother Braden Zimmerman arrived on Sunday a little bit after everyone was settled into their cabins and Chapters. He stayed with all of us for the entire week. He taught us about how DeMolay International runs some of their programs, and he also shared with us his DeMolay experience from when he was Master Councilor, all the way to when he became International Master Councilor.
Everyone began the week wondering when they were going home, but most of the attitudes changed half way through the week, and by Saturday they were wondering when they were going to be back.
One of the many highlights was on Wednesday when all the DeMolays and LTC staff played a great game of kickball with Camp Arrowhead after the match was over we all had lunch together. Later that night DeMolays rushed onto the field to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and enjoyed some pretty good pizza and soda.
The week was full of "Food, Fun, and Fellowship" as the Canadian's would say.
