Chevalier Investiture - Jason Ferenczy

On Saturday January 31, 2015, Brother Jason Ferenczy was invested with the Degree of Chevalier.  Jason has proven to be a great leader, not only of Doric Chapter, where he is Master Councilor, for the second time, but of Connecticut DeMolay, having attained the office of State Senior Councilor.  Jason was also a staff participant at Region 1 LTC, a position rarely offered to active DeMolays.

The degree team was comprised of Chevaliers that played a role in Jason's DeMolay career, thus far.  Commander in the East was Executive Officer, Harry E. Needham III, Commander in the West, Dad Kirk Trofatter, Jr, Commander in the South Dad W. Garrett Brush, Marshal Brother Jeffery Rowland, Chaplain Brother Tyler Brush - Jason's best friend and the brother who introduced Jason to DeMolay.  Right Eminent Grand Commander, William Mackey and the Grand Commandery were the Honor Guard.

Following the Chevalier Investiture, Doric Chapter hosted the Medieval Banquet.  Deputy Executive Officer George Greytak was the Lord of the Manner.  Past State Master Councilor Paul Evangelista entertained the crowd as the Court Jester.  There was jousting, bean bag toss, cards and other games provided.  The Lord of the Manner called for special entertainment from the Connecticut DeMolay State Suite Officers, singing 'I'm a little tea pot', followed by the Rainbow Girls present singing 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star'.

It was a good afternoon, honoring a well deserving Brother and dining with medieval libations.
