DeMolay assists Scottish Rite

Saturday July 28, 2012 was a busy one for CT DeMolay.  We had 2 chapters visiting our Nation's Capitol, our EO, SMC, DSMC and Region 1 Cabinet Member were visiting Canada, yet we were still able to provide assistance to the Scottish Rite for their Annual 5K walk/run - race. The Scottish Rite contributes to several charities, as well as funding the Scottish Rite Learning Center, with classes that focus on helping children with Dyslexia, in addition to providing financial aid to various CT DeMolay programs.  It's only fitting that when the opportunity arises to assist, CT DeMolay answers the call.  Members of Doric Chapter and Edward W. Slade Chapter manned water stations along to route to provide some liquids for the participants as they ran, or walked the 5K challenge, on a bright, sunny, hot, and humid morning..  More pictures can be found here.
