Thirty-seven DeMolays, advisors, friends, and their families traveled to Hammonasset State Park on July 22nd for a day at the beach. Quite a few of them attended the previous day’s Softball Tournament in Massachusetts (and were still sporting sun burns), which made this another fun, DeMolay-packed weekend.
All of those that attended had a great time. Many went swimming, played volleyball, flew kites, or just enjoyed the fantastic day and great food. This was the first event of SMC Matthew Lingenfelter’s term, who was installed only a week earlier, and it was great to see so many attend. Special thanks should go to Benjamin Franklin Chapter, who traveled from Massachusetts to show their support.
